Bundle and save! This sewing pattern bundle includes two patterns: the Asteri button down dress & vest, and the Aulio elastic waist shorts & trousers.

Asteri is a stylish unlined vest top with a V-neck, princess cut, patch pockets, split back hem, and a buckled tab at the back. Aulio is a simple and casual shorts pattern with a high elasticated waist and a cord casing. Both patterns also include a second variation (a dress and trousers).

Fabric & supplies

Fabric recommendations

Choose a medium-weight non-stretch fabric with a little bit of drape. A variety of linen and cotton fabrics work well with these garments.

Materials

Vest:

  • Fusible interfacing, 95 cm (1 yd)
  • Small or medium (12–18 mm/ 1/2–3/4”)
  • 3 cm (1 1/8”) slide buckle, 1 pc

Shorts:

  • Fusible interfacing, 30 cm (1/4”)
  • 2 cm (3/4”) elastic, your waist measurement
  • (Cord for drawstring, your waist measurement + 80 cm/32”)
    Use a premade cord for the drawstring, or make one from your fabric.
