Need the perfect fabric for upscale shirting applications? Try this Black 100% Pima Cotton Broadcloth with a fabulous hand and an amazing, soft and supple drape. Pima is considered one of the best grades of cotton available. Along with being a broadcloth (which is a densely woven and fine fabric normally comprising wool or cotton), this cotton is both combed and mercerized for additional luster and richness. Laying at 44" to 45" in width, it is crease resistant, lightweight, and just crisp enough for the creation of quality shirts and blouses.Note: This Pima cotton has been yarn-dyed, is almost completely opaque, has a thread count of 144 X 80, and is machine washable, too.

At Mood Fabrics, we prioritize efficiency and strive to deliver your fabric orders in a timely manner. Most orders are processed within 72 hours, with international orders potentially requiring an additional 1-2 days for processing. Certain items may have additional processing time, particularly those beginning with PV, FS36003-, SUN, AWG, and "Home" products.

Once your order has been processed and shipped, we use various shipping methods. USPS Ground typically delivers orders within 3-7 business days, UPS 2nd Day Air guarantees delivery within 2 business days, and UPS Next Day Air ensures delivery the next business day after shipping.

For customers needing expedited options, we offer UPS Next Day and 2nd Day Air shipping, available for an additional cost. To qualify for expedited shipping, orders must be placed by 1:00 PM EST.

HOW TO CARE FOR COTTON FABRICS:
Machine-wash warm or cold, tumble dry. Pull straight from the dryer to prevent wrinkles, or iron while damp. Prewash cotton fabrics before cutting out your pattern.

These care instructions given are for Cotton Fabrics in general, however, Mood Fabrics does not accept responsibility for fabrics that are incorrectly laundered/damaged by following these instructions. Customers must test a swatch before laundering any fabrics at home to avoid damaging the goods.

    I like this fabrics feel very soft and you can tell it’s high quality cotton. It’s actually wrinkle resistant but wrinkles are not that noticeable because it is black. One thing I don’t like is how much it attracts lint and hair. I consciously avoid cat hair and other things but in a very short span of time I’m covered again. It’s not that big of a deal though. Overall I am happy with the fabric and will consider buying it in white.

    I bought this fabric for a tiered box pleated skirt, and for an underlining for another dress I plan on making. It is crisp, presses well, and is easy to work with. It also is smooth and although it frays, it doesn't fray as much as other lightweight cottons. Love it!
