For those unfamiliar with microfibers, they are fibers finer than the most delicate of silks. In fact, they are almost 100 times finer than human hair. Micro velvets are some of the most luxurious velvets you can find aside from 100% silk velvets. The group that we have here contains one riveting drape, are of a lighter weight, and are as luxurious as can be. Micro velvets are best used for evening wear applications such as gowns and dresses.

It stretches so be sure to hang it up so it can stretch out. I wish I could have shared pictures of the final product.

I was cutting this with a rotary cutter with a blade that I didn't know needed to be replaced and it ended up tugging at some of the pile, creating a ripple that can't be undone. BE CAREFUL when cutting this fabric! I cut 2 pattern pieces that got this pulled string ripple effect and are now no good—I'm worried I have to reorder more. Fussy to work with, I probably should have gone with velour :'(
