Brocade fabrics are woven with metallic threads and dyed-yarns on a special Jacquard loom that enables threads to move independently; and, therefore, creating an all-around sheen emphasizing the physical depth with which these raised designs exist. Best for dressier occasions, design silhouettes like ball gowns, hula-hoop skirts, boxy jackets, and more. Opaque, though, incorporating a lining fabric will help avoid the potential of fibers unraveling at the seams. We suggest a radiant twill lining for extra durability and added structure.
