Dry-cleaning is recommended, though some wools can take hand washing. Always test a swatch first if you are going to care for your wool fabrics at home rather than using a drycleaner. Many of the fine wools Mood sells online and in-store have already been "sponged," or preshrunk, but you can preshrink your wool if necessary. Mood recommends taking your uncut wool fabric to the drycleaners and asking them to steam it for you, which will safely preshrink it more effectively than you can using home methods.
These care instructions given are for Wool Fabrics in general, however, Mood Fabrics does not accept responsibility for fabrics that are incorrectly laundered/damaged by following these instructions. Customers must test a swatch before laundering any fabrics at home to avoid damaging the goods.

This is substantial but cloudlike in texture. Just wonderful. Perfect for a pullover or sweater dress.

I used this fabric to create a simple winter dress (raglan sleeve bodice with wide neckline and a gathered skirt incl. side seam pockets). It’s very easy to work with but leaves a little bit of fluff everywhere. I like the slight one way stretch. Enough give for comfort but not too much to sacrifice shape or style. Would recommend it for cosy garments that look a bit more interesting. If I was to purchase this fabric again I would make a cardigan or poncho. Personally I prefer working with other wool blends but nevertheless a good fabric.
