I used this to upholster a headboard, so I did not sew with it. It is a really nice neutral warm slate/grey with a green tone. I felt the balance of green and yellow was perfect. It will blend with many other colors in surrounding decor. It does fray easily, so recommend stabilizing somehow, especially before washing. I didn’t wash it and only steamed it before working with it.
