Four-ply silk is the heaviest and most luxurious of all the crepe weaves in the silk family. Lush to the touch, with a soft hand and drape, 4-ply crepes are perfect for all kinds of elegant garments, from blouses and relaxed pantsuit pairings to wedding gowns. Available in 95+ attractive shades. Note: Dye lots are subject to change up to 10% in either direction. Ordering swatches is HIGHLY recommended for these products.

Shipping Policy

At Mood Fabrics, we prioritize efficiency and strive to deliver your fabric orders in a timely manner. Most orders are processed within 72 hours, with international orders potentially requiring an additional 1-2 days for processing. Certain items may have additional processing time, particularly those beginning with PV, FS36003-, SUN, AWG, and "Home" products.

Once your order has been processed and shipped, we use various shipping methods. USPS Ground typically delivers orders within 3-7 business days, UPS 2nd Day Air guarantees delivery within 2 business days, and UPS Next Day Air ensures delivery the next business day after shipping.

For customers needing expedited options, we offer UPS Next Day and 2nd Day Air shipping, available for an additional cost. To qualify for expedited shipping, orders must be placed by 1:00 PM EST.

Please note that fabrics and trims are not returnable, while buttons and notions may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 30 days of the original shipping date.

    Thank you Mood! I bought two pieces of 4-ply silk crepe – in whisper white and beetroot – they are thick, lustrous, extremely high quality, and the colors are gorgeous. I'm making simple tops (boat-neck, 3/4 sleeves, similar to Eileen Fisher tops). 4-ply silk crepe is a dream to work with.

    Great quality silk. Beautiful drape and subtle sheen. Perfect for anything you make that needs a drippy fabric. It is 4ply as well so it has a lot of body to it, its not flimsy.
