This is a very rich color. I would call it slate blue. I used this and the grayish color to make a colorblocked t-shirt. The colors look great together. The fabric has a nice drape and a hint of slinkyness so it would do well in designs with gathers, twists, cowls and other draped features. It is opaque as described, though I would wear a slip with it if I made a dress. It is very soft and feels cool against the skin. It also has great stretch recovery. Just be careful when pressing it as the iron can leave a weird sheen in the fabric.

This jersey knit was a dream to sew: the right side has a slightly textured finish that keeps it from sliding around. The fabric is opaque and drapey and is very high quality. I will be ordering more in other colors.
