Due to tightly twisting fibers during weaving, crepe is deliciously textured with a grainy hand. Alternating the direction of these twists yields a springy drape that brings movement to your semi-formal looks—and dare we mention that modest sheen? This light-to-medium weight fabric dreams of city-street-approved maxi skirts, in-office trousers, and date-night blouses. Semi-translucent; a lining may be desired. Here are a few tips from our sewists to master crepe’s unique texture:Lower the thread tension on your sewing machine to prevent puckeringUse a new, fine point needleTo prevent slipping during cutting, line up your pieces with the pattern pieces, cut in single layers, and use a rotary cutter or tabletop scissors.Be patient and have fun!

Most orders are processed within 72 hours, with international orders potentially requiring an additional 1-2 days for processing. Certain items may have additional processing time, particularly those beginning with PV, FS36003-, SUN, AWG, and "Home" products.

Once your order has been processed and shipped, we use various shipping methods. USPS Ground typically delivers orders within 3-7 business days, UPS 2nd Day Air guarantees delivery within 2 business days, and UPS Next Day Air ensures delivery the next business day after shipping.

For customers needing expedited options, we offer UPS Next Day and 2nd Day Air shipping, available for an additional cost. To qualify for expedited shipping, orders must be placed by 1:00 PM EST.

Please note that fabrics and trims are not returnable, while buttons and notions may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 30 days of the original shipping date.

HOW TO CARE FOR RAYON/VISCOSE:
Dry cleaning is usually preferable, but some rayons or viscoses can be hand-washed or machine-washed on delicate, cool water. Line dry. Test a swatch first.

These care instructions given are for Rayon and Viscose Fabrics in general, however, Mood Fabrics does not accept responsibility for fabrics that are incorrectly laundered/damaged by following these instructions. Customers must test a swatch before laundering any fabrics at home to avoid damaging the goods.
