I was so intimidated by the idea of sewing an invisible zipper that I changed patterns to do a lapped zipper. Finally decided to grit my teeth and give it a go. Bought this foot and it worked like a charm! After figuring out how it works on my machine (I thought the instructions were a little vague – more and clearer pictures would have been helpful) I tried it on a linen sheath dress and it was perfect! Turns out it’s actually easier than a regular zipper, once you get the hang of it. I felt so stupid for having put it off for so long but so proud of how it came out! Great foot.
