Multi-Sized Pattern for Adults & Kids

Skill Level:  2, Easy

Keep your feet toasty warm with these socks.  Use this easy pattern to quickly sew up several pair of fleece knee length or calf length socks.  Wear them as slippers, keep feet warm while camping, or wear under boots when out walking in the snow.  Finish socks with ribbing or with stretch binding.

Sizing: 
Child - Shoe size 0-8; Youth - Shoe size 9-13 & 1-5; Women - Shoe size 6-13; Men - Shoe size 6-13

Suggested Fabrics:
Main Fabric: Medium-weight Polar Fleece.  Fabric MUST have crosswise stretch for sizing to be accurate. Need at least 30% stretch. 
Binding: 4-way stretch Nylon/Lycra
Ribbing: Nylon Ribbing suitable for outerwear.

Fabric Requirements (45" or 60"/115 or 115cm width fabric):
Calf Sock, Fleece - Child: 1/4yd (23cm); Youth: 3/8yd (34cm); Women/Men: 1/2 yd (46cm)
Knee Sock, Fleece - Youth and Women: 5/8yd (57cm); Men: 2/3 yd (61cm)
Binding (optional finish), all sizes: 1/8 yd (12cm)
Ribbing (optional finish), all sizes: 1/8 yd (12cm)

Note: If you want to make more than one pair of socks, and if the fabric is 60", you can usually get 3 pairs of Child's or 2 pair of Youth's, or 1-1/2 pairs of Women's or Men's socks out of the length required for one pair.

Paper Pattern Correction:  The "ADULT HEEL 3" pattern piece has been mis-labeled as "527 POLAR SLIPPER".  It should read "504 POLAR SOCKS".  It is the correct pattern piece! We're sorry for the confusion!
